Stained Glass

Good Morning

I am so glad I didn't have to work this morning and so need to get in the studio and straighten up some things.
I got these leaded  stained glass small windows out of the storage room and really want to clean them up some how?

I had wanted to attach a chain to the top and hang them in a window in the studio and haven't got this done yet

I purchased these once at an antique shop in Lexington Missouri years ago maybe 5-7  years ago , they were having a going out of business sale and I got them very reasonable. I always see idea in my head of what to do with something  and want to re make them and then never can get my ideas into works

I have one in my office window setting between the storm window and the inside window, I don't have curtains in this room because I like looking out into my back yard. There is no houses out back of me and it blocks the neighbors to my side yard  looking in if they are in their back yard

Any ideas of something easy to do with them ?

Oh Did I mention I am moving to Italy ?

  2. I like the idea of hanging them with chains -- I think I'd just brush off the paint that's badly peeling and then leave them all chippy! It's a beautiful stained glass.
Oh, and for a minute I thought you were moving to Italy too!

  5. You almost got me with that Italy comment and then I remembered it is April Fools Day! Good try, though! 8+)
I think it was pretty creative to put one in between the storm window and the regular window. If you don't want to put this one in a window then how about putting a hinged piece on each side so you can stand it up and then putting a small lamp behind it.

  7. They would make great doors on an old cabinet. Just add hinges. No matter what you do they are lovely. Just leaning one on a mantle would be beautiful.

  13. Your stained glass window is lovely. I just love stained glass and found a pretty antique one a few years ago. It has a red tulip that's sort of shaped like a heart. I just propped it in my kitchen window, but they look lovely hanging on a porch or carport. I would love for you to share with my readers at Transformed Tuesday. http://pjhdesignsoneofakind.blogspot.com/2013/04/transformed-tuesday-32-features.html

  20. They are gorgeous -- simply beautiful!! Have you thought of hanging one over a high window? I mean, over the glass/window, from fishing line.
